Why Is Content Marketing Important?

If you are looking to get ranked high in the major search engines including google, you need to consider implementing content marketing into your mix on a consistent basis. This includes writing articles and press releases throughout the week. You need to select a keyword that you want to optimize for in your articles and press releases and use this keyword as many times as possible throughout your marketing materials. The way to find the most popular press releases and article sites is to go over to google and type in free press releases and free articles and google will pull up the top sites at that given time. It is essential to try to submit your marketing materials to as many of these sites throughout any given week as possible.

Solo Ads - Fastest Way To Build Your List

When I first started out marketing online more than seven years ago, the first form of paid marketing I engaged in was solo ads.  In my opinion it is the best way to build your list and the fastest way to build your list.  The truth is "the money is in the list".   If you are in a big ticket program like Direct Pay System, aka DPS, you know that for people to buy from you, three things need to happen.  1)  People have to get to know you  2)  People have to get to like you and 3) People have to trust you.   

You see people join people, not companies.  I learned early that one of the best ways to have these three things was to brand myself and to cultivate a relationship with the subscribers on my list.  My list is built inside of aweber.   Here is some proof of how I generate almost 250 new leads in two days.




Solo ads are a great way to build any business and they will allow you to quickly build your list. When you build your list you have to build a relationship with your list in order to turn your subscribers into buyers.   With solo ads, all you have to do is find the right providers.  Here is what I have learned.  For best results, you want to find providers who are expert copywriters, and will provide the ad copy for you.  The ones who offer guaranteed clicks are the best, and you want to make sure they are "Tier 1 " providers, as we all know those of us who are US based, will want US based traffic, as it converts the best.    Solo ads are a very good investment and to ensure your investment pays off, you want to be sure you have a good followup system in place.  It's good to personalize your autoresponder followup messages with your personal information, so people can contact you if they choose.   What I do, is send personal broadcasts to my list, the list I have largely built with solo ads so my subscribers get to know me, like me and trust me.  That is when the magic happens.  When all three of these come together, you will be able to succeed in building the business of your choice, for me it has been the Direct Pay System.

You want to be consistent with your marketing and if you do solo ads - the same applies.  Find a few good providers and become a regular customer.   This will allow you to continue to build your list and your business.   Remember "the money is in the list" and "the fortune is in the followup"    More on followup in another blog post.

You must start somewhere.  Paid marketing works best.   Start small and reinvest back into your business.  You are actually investing in yourself.  You can scale up your business as your profits increase.   A good rule of thumb is keep 80% and reinvest 20% back into your business. The 80 - 20 rule has proven to work for me.  I actually love the 80 -20 concept, because Direct Pay System has structured its comp plan around that.
